The difference was at 28, I was established and I knew what I wanted. At least, when I was in my mid 20s, that is how it seemed to me.

B) Why would these guys choose women their own age when they know the women they'd date are only doing it because they've had their itch scratched or are looking for something the younger men can't give to them(money, financial security etc)? I wouldn't agree that 18 year olds are more attractive than 25 year olds. Not even sure what you mean there, but expectations never scared me off.I can definitely say that I looked pretty much the same physically at 19 and 28. I have expectations and desires, they have expectations and desires, if we're dating it is because we meet each others. It is a relationship, hopefully (if it is healthy) and equal ones between two peers.
